Ingredients
- 16oz (480ml) canned chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
- 8oz (240ml) roasted red peppers from a jar (drained)
- 2oz (60ml) spicy tahini
- 1oz (30ml) olive oil
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) cumin
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) paprika
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) salt
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) cayanne pepper
- 2 cloves garlic
Directions
- Drain the chickpeas and rinse under cold water until clean. No need to remove the skins.
- Stir up the tahini so it is well mixed in the jar.
- Finely mince the garlic.
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor until smooth.
- Refrigerate for an hour to firm up texture further. It will be even better the next day.
