Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds beef (country ribs, eye, whatever)
  • soy sauce (1 cup)
  • brown sugar (1 cup)
  • ginger powder (1 tbsp)
  • minced garlic (2 tbsp)
  • red chili flakes (1 tsp)

Directions

  1. Sear the beef on all sides on high heat until crust forms
  2. While the beef is cooking combine rest of ingredients in a slow cooker
  3. Add the beef to the slow cooker and cook on high heat for 4 hours or until it has the desired tenderness. Do not cook too long or it will fall apart.
  4. Serve over rice with broccoli.
  5. Garnish with green onions and chili garlic sauce
