Ingredients
- 80/20 Ground beef (2 pounds)
- Package of 12 brioche rolls (or hawaiian sweet rolls)
- Sliced cheese (your choice)
- Yellow onions (4)
- Mushrooms
- Butter
- Everything bagel seasoning
- Salt
- Pepper
Directions
- If you want onions, cut them into rings and sautee in olive oil for 30 minutes until dark brown in color then set aside.
- Season ground beef with salt and pepper and press flat into a rectangular baking dish to form one massive rectangle patty.
- Bake the beef at 400°F (205°C) for 15 minutes or until cooked through.
- While the beef is baking, cut the rolls in half if they aren't already pre-sliced.
- Cut the mushrooms into slices and sautee in olive oil until cooked thoroughly.
- When the beef is done, remove it from the oven and cut it into patty shaped squares.
- In a new oven-proof pan, assemble the burgers with the patty followed by the cheese, onions, and mushrooms.
- Coat the tops of the buns with melted butter and sprinkle on everything bagel seasoning.
- Bake until cheese is melted and the tops of the bun becomes crispy.
