Chicken Taco Meat

Ingredients

  • 1 pound (1/2kg) boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1oz (30ml) packet of taco meat seasoning (your choice of brand)
  • 8oz (230ml) salsa (your choice of brand)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Heat your largest skillet on high.
  2. Once the skillet is up to temperature, add the chicken thighs and cook until browned. Approximatley 8 minutes on each side.
  3. Once the chicken is done, turn the heat off, roughly chop the chicken on a cutting board, then add it back to the pan.
  4. Add the seasoning mix and the salsa.
  5. Turn the heat back up and cook until heated through.
  6. Taste and adjust season for salt if necessary.
  7. Garnish with fresh chopped cilantro.
