- 25g finely ground coffee (Setting 2 on the grinder listed above. If you don't own a grinder, get your local coffee shop to grind some for you and tell them it's for a Moka Pot.)
Instructions
- Unscrew the top of the moka pot.
- Take out the filter basket.
- Fill the moka pot with hot water up to just below the pressure release valve.
- Fill the fitler basket to the top with finely ground coffee. Approximatley 25g.
- With you finger to scrape off any excess coffee so the top of the filter basket is level.
- Place the filter basket back in the base of the moka pot.
- Screw the top of the moka pot onto the base. Use a towel to hold the base while you do this so you don't burn your hands.
- Place the moka pot on a hot stove burner with the lid open so you can watch whats happening.
- After about two minutes coffee should start slowly trickling out of the top. When you see this turn the heat down low.
- When the coffee begins to bubble, close the lid and take it off the burner.
