Ingredients

  • 1 pound (1/2 kg) green beans (cleaned and trimmed)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) honey
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) red chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) ground black pepper
  • Salt (to taste)

Directions

  1. Put your largest skillet on medium heat and add olive oil.
  2. Once the oil comes up to temperature add the green beans along with the soy sauce, honey, chili flakes, and black pepper.
  3. Cook on medium heat for approximatley 10 - 15 minutes or until desired doneness is achieved.
  4. Taste the green beans and add salt if necessary.
